Coin hoards and hoarding in Britain (3): Radiate hoards

Citation :: The paper discusses 695 hoards of the radiate period (AD 238-95/6) known from Britain. This is the greatest peak in coin hoarding in the Roman period and the paper suggests that the reasons why so many hoards were unrecovered should be sought in the reforms of Aurelian and Diocletian, rather than invasions or unrest.
