For me unkown Victorinus ant.

In the Dutch national numismatic collection I found this Victorinus ant.
Looks to be official and the type is unknown for me.
Didn’t had the time yet to do much research on it but thought to post it here already to get opinions.




Any information is welcome and please let me know what you think of this coin.

Very interesting specimen, unknown type to me too. Securitas leaning on column is not seen for any Gallic rulers. DeWitte, Cohen and RIC listed a SECVRITAS AVGG but the character was seated and holding a sceptre. Anyway the coin disappeared from the French National Collection decades ago… I know Gallienus have a SECVRIT AVG type but with the right hand raised. Not in Cunetio or Normanby even in irregular coinage. Also I agree with you that the style looks official, probably from Trier. A real mystery coin.

A superb coin! It looks to be a local issue: the eye, the drapery of the bust and the head of the Securitas are not so regular as the official issues.
There's some of "celtic" in the representation of the Securitas hair for me... A great ant!
